This young athlete maintains impressive online audience
The young golfer will have numerous prominent backers when she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, possesses numerous international courses and often competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
But she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."
Kai will face several top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially reaching younger fans.
The young star has substantial online presence and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
